Frank Kampen opened Kampen Appliance in 1968 when he saw an opportunity to provide excellent service with honesty and integrity. He operated the business out of the trunk of his car, with his wife manning the office. He also had the future in mind anticipating his sons also joining the company. Andrew, the oldest son, joined in June of 1980, and apprenticed under his father's skillful eye. Fred joined the family business in 1996 after gaining valuable experience in the industry.
Andrew and Fred now operate the business together, while Frank is enjoying his family, grandkids and various renovation projects after retiring in 2000. A third generation son has now also joined the business.
Andrew and Fred continue to operate the company with the same enthusiasm, honesty and integrity that the company was founded upon, and look forward to many more years providing the excellent service that our customers expect of us….
